No point...

I'm just sitting here watching the cat eat all of the little goldfish crackers that were glued on Jackson's preschool project.

The goal was to represent "the ocean" (brought to you by this week's letter "O") using construction paper and goldfish crackers. It seems our ocean has been invaded by the predatory Plix shark and now leaves only the powdery remains of the orange crackers still stuck in the Elmer's glue that held it in place.

There goes the dream of seeing that artistic work hanging in the MOMA someday.

But yet I can't help but think - what would possess the cat to eat goldfish crackers today after never showing an affinity for them before. Why would he choose the art project when, on any given day, a smorgasbord of scattered and forgotten goldfish crackers are scattered on floors and couch cushions throughout the house.

Maybe my cat has a glue habit.

Maybe I haven't been getting enough sleep lately.

One of those seems a more realistic option than the other...

Maybe Mxyzptlk is more like his namesake then you realize!

An imp from the fifth dimension, Mr. Mxyzptlk possesses nigh-limitless reality-bending powers, which he often uses to pose challenges to Superman for his own amusement.

Come to think about it, that just about describes any cat we've ever had...
